Forum Theatre

Forum Theatre first session

Last 22nd of January, all the students in the Spanish Erasmus + team got together. It was the first time they got involved in the Forum Theatre. The session was really fruitful and we are very happy with the students attitude. We chose some of the activities practised in Finland and the students were eager to participate.
After a brief introduction explaining the aims of the project, we did the following activities:
-          First, we started with Kalabanda.

-          Then, we practised “grab the thumb”.

-          Once having broken the ice, we thought it would be a good moment to draw the “contract for collaboration”.

-          Next, the students felt more comfortable, so we moved to the activity consisting of “saying the name and showing the dream profession”.

-          Finally, we practised with “still images” related to the human rights.

We all had a good time and were pleased with the students' participation. The next session will be after Christmas.

International Human Rights Day 2015

Human Rights Day is observed every year on 10 December. It celebrates the day on which, in 1948, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The Polish Erasmus+ club decided to honor this special day with all the pupils and prepared a big celebration for them. We started with short presentation of our project "Stand up for your rights!" and the main matter of it - the human rights. The presented materials became a permanent part of the school corridor. Then the Polish coordinator of the project, Joanna Krech, with one of the pupils, a member of the Erasmus+ club, Justyna Rozmus, were talking about the project and encouraging all the children to join the club or to take part in many different activities. After that the pupils had an opportunity to find out more about their rights by watching a short movie on this topic.

At the end, listening to Bob Marley's song "Get up, stand up", we handed out many colorful balloons with different articles of the Convention of Human Rights attached to them. Later, at the classrooms, the teachers discussed the articles with the children and prepared drawings of human rights.
The celebration was great and we hope the spread information will benefit in the future.

Blogging blogging!

This Blogger is a new application for me, but it seems to function well. Thank you Beatrice for creating it!
This week we have to choose the pupils for the Erasmus Club. This is going to be a challenging task, since there are so many well prepared applications... We'll blog a picture, when we have the team ready. Have a nice week everybody!
